Wanna know Mallika’s age?

When you’re a diva, and among the hottest in the world, there’s a certain ‘heat’ that comes with the territory. And everyone’s favourite hot stepper Mallika Sherawat is facing enough to melt the polar caps. On the lady’s birthday (24th October) she was away in Chennai, shooting with Kamal Hasan for Dasavataram. But the media found reason enough to make merry.

In fact, several found ways to count the candles on Mallika’s birthday cake, speculating about her age and adding to the fiery fiesta. Some even pegged her age at 35 years.

But when we called Ms Sherawat to wish her, she was her usual chilled out self, working hard and laughing away the stories. “There is far much more misinformation about me than there is information,” she said. “They inflate my success, they inflate my failures, they inflate my ego and now they inflate my age! I'm supposed to also have some kids stashed away. And I’m supposedly 35! Now what can I say? Actually, let me say this, I’m not even 35... I’m 45... is that better? And I have kids who are 50! See, that should make people happy!”

With the gorgeous lass so totally carefree and bindaas... it had to be a very happy birthday for Mallika.
